Gold mine
The new Jaffar men’s jewellery collection is a must for those who love only gold
Issue: Oct, 2009
Unless we are talking about a treasure hunt in an Paraguayan cave, or a heist on a bank’s depositry box, it is usually pretty tough to get us interested in gold jewellery. Jaffar Jewelry, though, managed to turn our heads with a Middle East-inspired collection of cufflinks, keychains and pendants – designed with the Arab male in mind.
With the strong comeback of cufflinks as an accessory essential, Jaffar offers an impressive array of yellow and white gold studs topped with fine diamonds. The Arabic calligraphy, which has become a staple of regional jewellery, is to the fore in these creations – with a variety of verses and quotes.
The key chains and pendants are also made of 18-carat white or yellow gold, but here the Arabic verses from the Koran are not just inscribed or engraved but cut-out into the piece for truly unique items.
