Perfect balance
New collaboration on the underrated UK sneaker line
Issue: Nov, 2008
There’s obviously something in this whole sneaker collaboration thing. Absolutely everyone seems to be going at it – from car makers Mini, as we proved in NOX 39, to long-expired indie rock band Joy Division. This, though, makes a little more sense. Norse Projects are the Urban Outfitters of Scandinavia and they have generously overhauled the classic New Balance running shoe, their iconic M670, into the limited edition “Made In England”. Norse Projects claim to merge “function with quiet flair”, and this excellent product shows they can live up to their word. Now available online.
