RIM have miraculously managed to redeem themselves to the gadget world, certainly no easy task after producing the good-for-nothing-but-a-paper-weight Blackberry Storm I. The Storm II restores the lost faith of the people with a touch screen that feels like it has real buttons (a novelty that thankfully doesn’t wear off), along with a multi-touch upgrade and a 3.2MP camera that takes brilliantly crisp images. Developers also get bonus points for finally including a wi-fi feature, which will definitely keep all us networking geeks happy. The only downside to the Storm II is the sound performance, which not even the best pair of headphones can make impressive. Still, it is one of the best smartphones out there, and clearly a testament to all the recent advancements in the mobile world.
