Wave space goodbye

The Twins have resurrected

The US government has launched the "Twin Towers" warship, which was built from the steel salvaged from the World Trade Center. The Secretary of State Hillary Clinton described it as "a symbol of our unshakable resolve – this is a city built of steel."

Afraid of flying? Push the button!

Ever been on a plane and got stuck sitting next to someone with an intense fear of flying? Then you know how it feels to have that person chew your ear off, in their hope that talking to you will somehow distract them from the terrible scenarios running through their mind of mid-air explosions and metal wreckage hurtling to the ground. Well now, Virgin Atlantic Airways has created an application to bid this phenomenon farewell.

A spa in outer Space?!

Remember when we saw Alien and thought how great it would be to have a vacation in outer space. It's not a fantasy anymore – at least not for the filthy rich.
