A shoe for a shoe

Looks like Muntather Zaidi had a taste of his own medicine. And like the Iraqi journalism guidebook says; a shoe for a shoe.

Journalist Muntather Zaidi was the guy who threw a shoe at former President George W. Bush during a press conference in Iraq, which caused him to be arrested for about a year. But soon after the incident, he was considered as an "Arab hero" – But looks like there is someone who begs to differ.

While Muntather Zaidi was speaking at a press conference – held by the Arabic Journalism Club – in Paris, a Journalist called Seif al-Khiat – an Iraqi journalist – threw a shoe at him in contempt of Muntather's statements about Iraq being invaded by Americans, when Seif sees that they saved the Iraqis from the dictator Saddam Hussein.

The shoe didn't hit Muntather, as it didn't with Bush, but this time there was no arrest. Could this be a sign of switching the traditional complaint box to throwing shoes?

What do you think?
